Fly2Work was engaged by BHP Minerals Americas to develop and implement a bespoke accommodation and canteen management platform to handle the logistics of 52,000 staff.

The platform integrates various features such as Fly-In/Fly-Out (FIFO) operations management, team management and supplier management, all in a single, secure system.

This solution has helped BHP to enhance their focus on safety, productivity, and culture, allowing for long-term sustainability, it also provides real-time reporting, inventory management and live tracking of employees, which is crucial for the management of large workforce.

Approach

Fly2Work was engaged by BHP Chile to provide a comprehensive solution for managing the accommodation and canteen services for the workforce. The project included extensive stakeholder management, requirement gathering, and scope of works development. The design and development of the solution were closely monitored and managed through daily stand-up meetings and regular management meetings to ensure the project stayed on track and met the requirements and expectations of the client.
